Inishmore, Ireland 2006

Thelma fighting the Atlantic wind near the cliff edge, climbing up towards Dún Aonghasa. As part of our trip to Western Ireland (mostly to County Clare) in 2006, we visited Inishmore in the Aran Islands off Galway. I had read and seen documentaries about this best-known of several prehistoric hill forts on the Aran Islands. It was a unique opportunity to come to this exceptional place.
