our target on Inishmore - the hillfort of Dún Aonghasa

It was a long impressive walk up towards this amazing ancient structure. It was drizzling and a cold Atlantic wind was testing our attire. (Dún means "fort/castle". "Fort of Aonghas" [Angus] - may refer to the pre-Christian god of the same name described in Irish mythology, or a mythical king.)
