This is an area of Siberia where most Buryats live. They are a Mongolic ethnic group. The café had a very decent indoor space too, but we preferred to sit on the platform right next to the waves of Lake Baikal. I set the camera to take a delayed shot, and I just about managed to get back to Thelma in time. It was still a very foggy and quite dark morning, which explains why I had to lighten the picture a lot, which gave this less than excellent quality - but it's yet another nice moment of memory with Thelma, so it's here.
