in the Grey Cairns of Camster (near Wick)

The Grey Cairns of Camster are two large Neolithic chambered cairns in the Highlands. They date to about 5,000 years ago. We found them next to a side road in a desolate area of boggy peat-covered moorland. Before going on holidays or trips, we always did a bit of preliminary research to know what's worth seeking out near our destination. That's how we found such things. We both liked to put some content into our trips.
