Thelma at the grave of my Mum and my Granny (and my maternal great-grandparents)

August 2007 - Hódmezővásárhely, Hungary - Kincses [KIN-chesh] cemetery (Hungarian Reformed Church - Calvinist - cemetery). My Granny's name is at the top, my Mum's is at the bottom, the names of my great-grandparents are on the front of the gravestone. My sweet Thelma came with me several times over the years to visit my graves in Hungary. It is unfortunate that she always did her best/worst to avoid being photoed or filmed. I have many such 'sneak' pictures of her (this is also just an enhanced poor quality screengrab from our travel DVD I made of our 2007 trip). She seemed to care about my life, which showed in other ways too. This is how she became an organic part of not just my present but of all my past, as well. She's taken my past with her too - but it's in good hands. There has been absolutely no one else worthwhile to share my memories - and therefore my whole life - with.
