outside the Église Saint-Sulpice

From Las on 24th November 2021 outside the Église Saint-Sulpice

This unusual church, which is the second largest in Paris (after the Notre-Dame) first captivated me in the 1980s, well before they used it as a setting for the Hollywood blockbuster, The Da Vinci Code, and when we visited it with Thelma, it was also years before the film. (In the film it features when Silas, the albino monk and assassin visits St. Sulpice in search of the Holy Grail.) This pic is one of my favourite photos with Thelma (not because of the church or the film, though). The fountain is in the square just outside Saint-Sulpice.
