She had an aristocratic presence (in the best sense) - pre-Raphaelite looks, long tender princess-like hands, fingers and neck, a cultured English voice (listen to her voice in the video clip concerning Whitstable), not a hint of commonness in anything she said, she could talk about much more than the weather in depth. She was a woman who never needed to pretend she was a man. In Schönbrunn it was as if she had been born and bred there.
