We made a few other trips and excursions that year, but Lapland was the last holiday when we were really closely together every day without worries and with clean thoughts that didn't wander elsewhere with anyone else. For me, that warm intimate peaceful stay in that beautiful winterland turned out to be the real farewell trip with my beloved Thelma.
